Our hiking tours are guided by professional local guides and are suitable for beginners and for advanced hikers.

On our multiple day tours you will sleep in typical mountain lodges or at small hostels and hotels and you will have the time to discover the local cuisine and art of beer brewing.

No equipment needed - just bring your shoes! We will take care of everything else.

One day hiking tour - Munich-Spitzingsee-Rotwandhaus-Munich

Day 1 - Munich-Spitzingsee-Rotwandhaus-Munich
Highlights: Lake Spitzingsee, Rotwand summit, Rotwandhaus mountain lodge

 

Early in the morning we will meet at Munich train station or at your hotel to take the local train to Fischhausen passing lake Schliersee - a scenic train ride passing typical Bavarian landscapes. A short bus ride will take us to the start of our mountain hiking tour at Spitzingsee. Starting at an altitude of about 1.000 metres we will walk to Rotwand summit (1.890 metres). You will have impressive views of the surrounding Alps. Descending 100 metres we will arrive at Rotwandhaus mountain lodge where can enjoy a typical "Kaiserschmarrn" or other typical foods. To return to Spitzingsee we have different options: passing the Taubensteinhaus mountain lodge or the Maxlreiner hut. If you would like to extend the trekking tour we can pass the Soinsee and descend to Bayrischzell crossing the Ruchenköpfe summits, which are located in the next valley to Spitzingsee.

- no special skills needed

- recommended: good fitness level, endurance, no fear of hights
- maximum altitude: 1.890 metres (5.900 feet)
- minimum age: 16 years
- group size: minimum 1 person, maximum 6 persons

Day 1 - Munich-Walchensee-Herzogstand-Munich
Highlights: Lake Walchensee, Heimgarten summit, Herzogstand summit
Early in the morning we will meet at Munich train station or at your hotel to take the local train to Kochel am See - a really impressive train ride passing typical Bavarian landscapes. A short bus ride will take us to the start of our mountain trekking tour at Walchensee. Starting at an altitude of 800 metres we will walk in dense forest. At an altitude of about 1.700 metres we will leave the forest and walk on a mountain ridge which offers breathtaking views of the Alps. On this tour we will climb two summits: Heimgarten summit (1.790 metres) and Herzogstand summit (1.730 metres). We have the possibility to visit two typical mountain lodges which offer local food and drinks. On the way back, if we are too tired, we can take the Herzogstand cable car back to Walchensee.

2 day trekking - Munich-Kochelsee-Lenggries-Tegernsee-Munich

Day 1 - Munich-Kochelsee-Lenggries
Highlights: Rabenkopf summit, Benediktenwand summit, Brauneck Ski Resort
Early in the morning we will meet at Munich train station or at your hotel to take the local train to Kochel am See. A short bus ride will take us to the start of our mountain trekking tour. From an altitude of 605 metres at Kochel am See we will walk up to an altitude of 1.800 metres (5.900 feet) at Benediktewand summit today. From there we will follow the E4 hiking trail passing the well known ski area of Brauneck to Lenggries, where will sleep tonight. At Lenggries we will have a tasty dinner at a restaurant offering local cuisine and beer.


Day 2 - Lenggries-Tegernsee-Munich
Highlights: Geierstein summit, Fockenstein summit, Aueralm mountain lodge, Lake Tegernsee
After breakfast we will walk up to Geierstein summit where we will have a breathtaking view on Lenggries. The next summit is called Fockenstein. You will have a wonderful view to the South: the Alps of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Descending to Tegernsee we will stop at Aueralm mountain lodge to enjoy some traditional food and drinks. Next stop will be Tegernsee lake where will take the train back to Munich in the evening.
